Thought Leadership
Thought leadership is the practice of consistently sharing original perspectives, insights, and frameworks that advance a field's conversation — not just reporting what others say, but contributing something new. A thought leader is someone others cite, quote, and come to when they want to understand what's happening and where it's going.
Example
'AI will replace content creators' is a take. 'AI is creating a permanent market for distinctly human storytelling — and here's the specific evidence from the past 18 months that shows why' is thought leadership. The difference is original analysis, cited evidence, and a point of view that moves the conversation forward rather than restating it.
